What do you think of yourself now?

As a dub, we had to suppress all of our inner feelings, desires, self-image, and what not. Now, that you're out, what was the first thing that you did (that you would of gotten a *smack down* for as a witness)?

You don't have to tell all of the details.

I started looking at Disney movies and then started looking at R rated movies. I went out to clubs with my sisters. I started buying music again (I never did like the Kingdom melodies. I thought that they were just *blah* horrible.). Went to school and got a degree.... and more.

I'm in school now working on my degree. Read alot more interesting topics than WTS literature. Still on good behaviour though except the occasional cigar.

Ms Mc Duckett, I went and put up my windchime that was given me as a father's day present by my wife. It was about 7 years ago. I had so many constraints on my life before coming to a true knowledge of the truth, that I held my own self hostage with the thoughts and beliefs of the WTB&TS. After learning from those here how twisted and warped my allegiance to the organisation was, I freely began to make changes in my life. Went to college, learned a trade, found that the world is no more corrupt than many who I'd fellowshipped with in the Hall. On blustery nights like this, my wind chime rings loud and clear as to my freedom from the clutches of an oppressive organisation, bent on keeping folks unaware as to its true nature.

I'm glad that you're normal. Being in "the truth" can make a young one like yourself go into depression. You've got time to continue your schooling or just enjoy your youth.

Ain't it wonderful! Not separating the sheep from the goats. Just going with the flow. Not being yourself is very stressful.

I started by growing some facial hair. Then I started reading all the science related left brained material that I had denied myself before because of its "questionable" content. Hooray heresy!
