The "apostates" strongly object to the WTS because they got treated by them in a rough way, they weren't allowed to speak their mind in the org (and instead got thrown out for wanting a free debate attitude) and now they do their best to speak about what is wrong with the dubs.

We only uncover what the WTBT$ has tried to hide. Sometimes it is easy to find and sometimes they have hidden it under so many layers of grime that we have to do a more thorough job. When that happens we almost always uncover another pile of dirt that needs to be sifted through.

hehe, you make us all think for sure.

Its not to destroy what people believe, its not to pull the rug from under peoples feet, its just we are hurt ourselves, and personally i would love for people to get out of it for THEM and be happy and see what life is!

I don't dream of the downfall of the WBT, but the whole thing is just wrong.

I agree that there are many things going on here. 1. We are trained to see the flaws in things. (how many times have you joked about catholic priests and their dirty deeds?) 2. We want to keep people from making the same mistakes that we did, wasting the same amount of time. How better to do that then by pointing out what is wrong?

I have heard some real horror stories on this board. I would never want my sisters or children to have to experince those things. I might not be able to help them. But damnit if i am not going to try. Think about a company that abuses their employee's, how many web sites can you find that are ex-employee's complaining. (the infamous ex-target employee site comes to mind)

Utimately it is a fight that is pretty common, a fight against injustice.

Greetings LadyLee. Is it uncovering 'dirt' or 'truth?' I prefer the truth, because the truth sets one free.

    Wishing you good health.

Why do ex-JWs try so hard to uncover WTS dirt?

The WTS has gone to great lengths to publicize the demerits of all other religions, governments, businesses, charities, and lifestyles in order to gain converts. They demonize everything they can't control. Yet they will exploit the very things they criticize when it is to their advantage. They lie to cover up the lies that cover up lies. All in the name of enslaving unsuspecting people into expanding their publishing empire.

They are abusive in every sense of the word. Our uncovering WTS dirt is a work that is far more charitible than anything the WTS does.

I think it is because since we stopped going to meetings and out in service we have all this free time on our hands. Macrame just isn't my cup of tea.

Those that came before me, that started digging for that dirt, are those that have help pave a smoother road for us new ones. Why? It needed to be done. Someone had to start digging to get to the bottom of it all. Whether the WTS likes it or not, it is always a matter of time before the real truth comes to light. It isn't a matter of dirt, it's a matter of truth vs lie, light vs dark. Everything that Jesus stood for, to me, comes down to a few simple things, one of which being truth.
