Also, you said "a symbol", the WTS has used many pagan symbols in its history, you should have enought sense to put out which symbol are you referring to?
LoneRanger,
He said "as their logo," which narrows it down to one symbol.

I sincerely do apologize. Please accept it. I had the statues of Artemus in mind when I posted, and yes, I thought this was a board for active members. Me bad. I'm sorry.

Heres one for you. Its called the tree of life. Dont ask me what it means because I have no idea. It does look pretty cool though, huh? -

After reading all the posts, Welcome IOC. I must tell you I never knew it was a pagan symbol. Just goes to show you, you're never to old to learn.

Who and where are the statues of Artemus? And how are they pagan symbols? (rubs hands thinking this could be another for my collection...)

Scroll through the first set of pictures until you get to a photo of statue. That begins a "Diana Artemis of Ephesus" collection of photos.
Enjoy!

Welcome first.
I do not see really the watchtower as a pagan symbol. That it is used in the artemis statue does not prove anything. She is waring a dress too. Does that make a dress a pagan symbol.
The watchtower is a symbol of war. It must have been first created for this purpose only.
Can't really make anything bad for them out of this symbol, except that connection to war...Danny
