  I read somewhere that both Knorr and Franz had a Jewish heritage in that they had recent jewish ancestry, does anyone know something on this? If true that may explain the strong judaic influence in the JW religion.

  District Overseer Scaglione (pronounce Skal-ee-o-nee) loved to tell the story of when he met Knorr.

  Knorr decided to heckle him regarding the rather 'stupid' spelling of his name.

  Knorr: Why do you have to have a "G" in Scaglione? What's the point? Shouldn't your name be pronounced Skag-lee-on-ee?

  Scaglione: The same reason you have a "K" in "Kuh-noor"

  LOL, I laugh every time I think about him getting the best of ol' Knorr.
