If forced to move to a city I'd try Chicago too.
If memory serves you are in banking-managment of some kind? Lots of work like that in Chicago. Realestate is kind of spendy.... but it's a very nice city.
Miami may fit the ticket for you ... lots of growth. If your in to a multi cultural place it's jumping and South Florida in general has a growth economy.
I think I will stay out here on the ranch with the horses...Good Luck, Joel !

Santa Cruz, California. Fantastic area for creative people; got the ocean, redwood trees, close to San Francisco and the mountains are just hours away. Beautiful scenery abounds, very spiritually attuned population. Wish I were there again after 25 years back in Wisconsin.

A wonderful place, but very, very expensive to live there. I tried buying a house there a few years back and I couldn't even afford a shack. Beautiful place though.

Syracuse 18 years, Buffalo, 2 years...currently..Atlanta (north GA actually) since 89...ok traffic may be tough even after that rig flipped this morning...it was not a fun ride. I don't own a snow shovel and my DJ business is growing every year. I guess to each their own.

When I lived there, I was studying. I lived in a neighborhood on the North Side, between ;Broadway and ;Sheridan, ;for a while. The dubs called it Soddom and Gomorrah, but I ;still loved the people there. The place I lived had at one time been a posh hotel. It was run by transvestite and gay ;men who were the sweetest guys. They were so nice to me personally. One sweetheart ;gave me his alarm clock when mine broke. They also yelled at my highschool sweeth
Is that on the Near North side? Like west of Halstad? South of Wrigley? I think that used to be a Swedish neighborhood years ago...
