Which do you think is the most powerful leader? .

Or the leader that threatens his people, and carries a big gun.

Personally I think it is easier to reject this kind of leader. It is easy to recognize that threats of violence and death are wrong. People will choose to follow or die as martyrs or for their cause to reject the leader. It's always easier to recognize the threat - it's upfront and you KNOW the danger.

The leader that can convince his people to follow his example, and trust him

This one is far more dangerous. Because of its subtlety it is much harder to identify. Therefore people can convince others to do things they would never do on their own because they are convinced their leader has their best interests at heart.

    Lady Lee...dangerous to whom?

If GWB is the most powerful man on the planet, why can he not answer a impromtu question with his true opinion, instead waiting for a poll to see where the majority is on the topic? that is a "follower" move. He is not even free to have his own personal opinion. If that is "power" I will pass on it...

The world needs a leader that speaks from the heart, and off the cuff, not reading from some script that someone else wrote. A leader who does the right thing everytime not what is most profitable. GWB is the same broken record as all politicians are, none of them create peace, prosperity or long life and the mess and chaos they create is enormous.

It is always more succesful to act in a civilised manner and try to persuade others about your opinions by using rational arguments and good documentation in a polite peaceful spirit.

What is more powerful? the desire to learn and grow, or the desire to rule, threaten and control others? " " killed the cat? To find a desire that overpowers a bad one, well you get the idea........
