PC as in "politically correct" games?
My favourite is "visually challenged person's buff".

Half life 2
Slugga I''ve completed Half Life a couple of times. Not played 2, is it as good / better? Its kind of a different game, You're not confined to walking around labs anymore, you get two vehicles to ride about in as well. The monsters are better developed, harder to kill and more intelligent. Theres an excellent new weapon called the grav gun that allows you to pick things up and then project them over a distance and at force. So you can shoot paint cans at zombies, Machine saw blades and other stuff The graphics are way ahead of the first game. If you like shoot em ups with suspense I'd buy Half Life 2 Another good shoot em up is F.E.A.R, best A.I I've ever seen in a game.

For games involving ancient civilizations, I enjoyed Caesar III quite a lot. It is similar to Pharoah, Cleopatra and to Zeus, which involve Egyptian and Greek cultures, respectively. For third-person shooters, the first four Tomb Raider games were good, as was Darkened Skye. Drakan was the best of this type game overall, IMHO, and I like that the lead characters were capable women in all of them. Lately I've been playing the Sims (original), with all the expansion packs, and finding it quite immersive.

The one I posted was not a PC game. I tried to pull an outbutnotdown, but then someone had to come and ruin it

Thank you all now I have a much better idea as to what I should get, to have some entertainment during rest periods after working on the PC.
