Hello belbab and thank you for your thought-provoking posting.
You just might be right; this could be the second shoe dropping, the first being the disconnection between the governing body and the WTBTS directors back in October 2000.
Has there been much written about the governing body in the past year of WTBTS literature? Perhaps there are some hints there. Alternatively, the lack of any such articles would also be a hint.
Perhaps this is the next step in the end of the "FD&S equals anointed" doctrine. Maybe the doors to being of the anointed will once again swing open; although the passage for new members will depend upon years and years of unquestioning service.

i spose the really great thing about the mt 24:45 prophecy is that its so open ended. it could mean whatever they need it to mean at any given time. jesus just asked the question, 'who really is the slave feeding at the proper time?' he didnt even answer his own question. the answer is simply a de facto observation. whoever's dispensing the food, thats the FDS. and the WT has established that they are the ones doing the feeding so lets just be done with it and say the WT IS THE F&DS. end of story. it would clear up the awkward understanding currently that has all these non-GB anointed, supposedly FDS but dispensing nothing. i think belbab is on to something here...

If these meetings are not being arranged solely at Kingdom Halls, then it's probably not going to be too dramatic of a message. Hosting the meetings in "worldly" arenas and convention centers means that even though admittance is restricted there will still be outsiders there in the form of the facility's personnel.
Which also opens a door for those who don't get the "invitation" from The Empire.....
Does anyone know the locations, if any, for Georgia?

Perhaps this is a special meeting (sting operation) conducted by the FBI in order to get all the pedophiles in select locations to make it easier for them to be arrested. No, the society wouldn't betray the brothers like that. . . would they?
