It is snowing like crazy where I live and it common for churches and other places of worship to close for the safety of members. They usally alert folk on the morning news.
    Sooooooooooo
Why were "Kingdom Halls" and "Churchs and Temples" listed acordingly on particullar station?
none of the other stations did this; they just list alphabetically

Why don't you call the station and ask them?

    Yes, seriously.

"" Why were "Kingdom Halls" and "Churchs and Temples" listed acordingly on particullar station?""

Maybe for the same reason that Kingdom Halls are listed under "Churches" in the phone book.

Seriously, you would have to ask the station as to why.

The goofy WTS brand-differentiation of never referring to a Kingdom Hall as a "church" probably isn't an important consideration for the media when they're going through their cancelation list.

I wish we had some snow here to cancel my meeting at 10AM.
    It's torture, absolute torture....

They don't cancel there meetings they just expect you to have snow dogs and a sleigh and get there no matter what!

I grew up in the mountains in Montana. We never once had a snow day either at the KH or at school. After I moved west and found out there even WAS such a thing I was bummed! While living in eastern Washington for a lot of years they never called snow days, even when we had freezing rain. You were expected to be there, even if the schools were closed. Now that I'm in Seattle I would never set foot NEAR a KH, so I don't have a clue how they do it over here.

Weird thing is, everyone here drives like they've never seen it rain before, EVERY time it rains. When it snows it snarls traffic for hundreds of miles, accidents everywhere (mostly SUVs and 4X4s), and many roads are closed. Still, you know, you need to be at the KH for meeting no matter what.

Our meetings were cancelled a few times because of the weather. We were always notified by our BS conductor phoning us.

Minnesota meetings are cancelled on occasion due to the snow/ice. Here in California, it would probably take an earthquake to cause a cancellation.
