Just finished Invisible Cities - Italo Calvino (umpteenth time)
Just started Greenvoe - George Mackay Brown (it's lovely)
and I'm swamped amidst a sea of books on urban design theory.
A Short History of Nearly Everything - Bill Bryson
Great stuff!
Bone Palace Ballet, poems by Charles Bukowski
Talk to the Hand by Lynne Truss
I read Memoirs of a Geisha too. It's a good read. Haven't seen the movie.
Mulan, if you like Phillippa Gregory, try "The Other Boleyn", it's about Anne Boleyn's sister, another one of Henry VIII's mistresses.
Yes, I read that one in December. Really good book. Henry was a creep!!!!!
HOW TO DO YOUR OWN DIVORCE IN TEXAS tenth edition by Ed Sherman
I read the Lovely Bones book, it was different but a good story. Right now I'm reading Stephen King's The Sun Dog, and Agatha Chritie's Three Act tragedy, two of my favorite authors
Right now, John Lescroart's "Guilt" I'm hooked on the Dismas Hardy character.
Read all of Dan Brown's stuff, and I really liked both "DaVinci Code" and "Angels and Demons". If you like that sort of literary thriller, try just about anything by Greg Iles. Best would be "Mortal Fear" and "Black Cross".
I got halfway through "Devil in the White City" and then I moved, and had to return it, I need to pick it up again.
One of my favorites, "The Professor and the Madman". It's about the writing of the Oxford English Dictionary, very interesting, almost reads like a novel.
I usually read several books at once.
