I remember seeing worldly poeple put money away for their retirement and talking about their retirement some 30 years away, and I knew they would never touch that money because we would be in the new system. So I felt superior in a certain way, knowing things they didn't know...
But how wrong I was.....

Morally yes I used to feel superior but I always knew that there are very good people who arent JWs. Growing up my parents never discouraged having "worldy" friends either so I guess I am lucky not to have the ideology that non-JWs are worthless drilled into me.

IM sure that not only did some JW's feel superior to worldly people, but some JW's must have felt superiour to other JW's, with less privileges or teaching capacity.
