  If they were going to use that brochure on all shepherding calls (which according to the society every member of the congregation should be getting) why wouldn't they just have it as a Service Meeting part?

  Everyone knows that there isn't a hall in the world (ok pretty sweeping statement, I agree) that visits every publisher for a shepherding call. It's only those who are tiring out or not doing enough and catch the eye of an elder who actually get called on.

  The shepherding elders, or shepherding elder with ministerial servant are supposed to discuss which artiles would be useful to discuss with the sheeplike one ahead of time. This makes both brothers prepare well for the shepherding call for maximum effect. I know, I know this only really happens in make believe land. It is, however, from my memory at least, unusual for the society to dictate a specific topic to be covered at all shepherding calls.

  The brochure stinks, I hope they do use it.

  I dropped out in Sept. because they couldn't explain why we were in the "hour of Judgement" even though they made that statement.............among other things.. They want us to believe we have entered into this "hour"...as stated in a chapter in the 'KEEP ON THE WATCH' broc. But why? They'll never tell....

  I quit going to the BS meeting (no pun intended) last May when we were studying the "Keep on the Watch" brochure. I was stunned with the chapter that discussed 'warnings' that people shoul pay heed to.

  The mentioned, earthquakes, tornados and interestingly NEVER did mention ANY THING specifically for us to watch for, just simply, Keep on the Watch! It was amazing, go back and read it, it will blow your mind. Absolutely not a word about the UN, Scarlet WB, or the end of the system, just Keep on the Watch.

  I'm proud to say it was my last bookstudy, forever with the WTS.

  Er,....well this brochure scared me into agreeing to have regular bible studies.

  Anybody calls me an idiot will get their ass kicked by me if ever we meet and haven't resolved our differences by then,
