My bed is too soft... how do I make it more stiff?

    I wonder what would happen if you put a piece of plywood on top of the box spring but under the mattress to give it more support

    I saw this suggested online. 1inch thick plywood that is the same width and length as the bed... also well sanded so it will not damage the mattress.

    In old people's homes in England they give the male residents a sleeping pill and a viagra pill each and every night.

    Sleeping pill to give them a good nights rest and a viagra to stop them rolling out of bed.

    I have this problem as well, I wake up in pain every morning.

    I am trying to convince my man to build me a platform bed to give me more support. So far it's not working! But I've heard that's the way to go.

    I read the title of this post too fast and thought you were having "equipment" issues. Glad to know you're not

    My grandmother and grandfather always used a piece of plywood between matresses. I remember as a child having it on my twin bed.......... Terri
