Does anyone remember the Myth series by Robert Aspirin? (Mythadventures, Hit or Myth, etc). I loved those.

No. It's a small village in Aberdeenshire (Scotlan) where my ancestors live. I'm not sure why I started using it for nicknames/email, besides that I hate adding numbers to my nickname.

Wow..lots of good stuff here..
I can't believe no one has mentioned David Brin's Startide Rising , Sundiver and Uplift War all in the Uplift series. I still read those guys every once in a while. I WISH someone would do a movie on them!
