If heaven (or paradise earth) is anything like Jerusalem, you can have it! Anyone that's spent some time in that rat infested, filthy putrid city would be repulsed by the idea of living forever in a place like that! In fact the majority of Israel is a wasteland fit for lizzards and iquanas. I'll settle for the good old Pacific NW any day....

Heaven must be as much a spiritual state of mind and heart that can be experienced right now and ultimately also a physical reality that encompasses all we are as living beings spirit, soul and body.

The only thing we know for sure is that we die as humans and after that it's just speculation, anything we can think up in our minds, unless we rather believe what someone else thought up in their mind.

IMO I think the entire earth is destroyed to the point human life cannot exist on the planet so it takes a thousand years for the earth to restore itself or to be reconstructed then at that point the second resurrection takes place, after the thousand years, and people are living in human form again .

I don't need deprogramming for discussing what the bible says . The problem with the j-dubs is that they discuss what the "society" believes the bible is saying which has proven false countless times but is still held up as truth and fact , now there may need to be some deprogramming there .The absurd arguments that seem to be fabricated to enforce these beliefs are in fact programming .IMO
If I died and woke up in an earthly paradise that would be great, but I can simply no longer believe in the 2 class system anymore and I think with some research you will feel the same. That group of 144,000 was filled a long, long time ago.
