OK, here's my vote for my two favorites
ocsrf: He is a great guy. Very intelligent and supportive and sane and reasonable. (I think he is under- rated because he is a low-key kind of guy.)
tetrapod: He is also a great guy, very intelligent and supportive and crazy and unpredictable. (Yes, I know he is already on every girl's hot list but I just had to say it again)
I am so glad, GGG, that you are taking care of bythesea. That's one of the treasures of JWD, is the spinoff friendships that are created, not always broadcast on the board.
I made a good friend on the board here, she lives in Edmonton. ConcernedMama. When her daughter started dating a CO's son, ConcernedMama set about getting informed. She got way more than she bargained for. CM tackled the problem with grace and sensitivity, honoring her daughter's independence, while advising her to be careful. She has some great insights on the dynamics of being raised in a CO's household. Oddly, the mother opened up to ConcernedMama quite a bit, possibly because there were precious few JW women she could trust. CM's daughter eventually broke up with the boy, and CM doesn't visit us so often. But, quietly, she's probably supported more exiting JW's than I have.
