I also know and have heard that many of the young ones who were growing up in the congregation back when I was there, have now left. One or two were DF'd but their not bother by it, caused their parents to leave as well.
In fact only 2 of my 7 children are still in with their mother.
Young ones today have so much more information available to them. When I became a JW in 1971 I could only find a couple of books about them and there was no internet.
Now there are books galore on JW's. The internet is available at schools, colleges, universities, internet cafes and many homes.
Also young ones today are more questioning than of years ago. The education system has taught them to question not to accept things at face value. No wonder the WT hate colleges etc.
Also as I have heard from my children, what some of the young JW's get up to now, I wouldn't have even dared to think about doing.
If any of the young brothers involved in some of the activities ever become Elders they will certainly have a different view on some things.
