Put trust in REAL TRUTH, not the UtopiaTower "holy truth". They are the most Fake religion on Earth.

Someone once told me that when you split up with a lover it takes roughly the same number of years that you knew them to get them completly out of your system. I'm comming to the conclusion that this might also apply to former religions.

As someone said to me the other day, it gets easier the longer you are out.

Hi Beachbugg.. Thanks for sharing your story. You have lived thru lots of hard times growing up. but you were strong enough to pull your life together and not let the JWS take over your life.That is a great accomplishment in itself.

I understand this so well...This comes from our being in the cult, and us sick of them being in our private affairs, so we end up developing an overdeveloped sense of privacy. Which IS hard for those on the outside to understand since they see it as just a religion. Yes, it is a long process, a long journey indeed, but in the end he'll understand. Please stick around for ahwhile; hey, the experiences here have helped me, and the support here is great.

It's amazing how good it feels to just get it out. Although it's a little odd that complete strangers now know more about my past than anyone in my life now.
