This scripture obviously applies to actions rather than feelings. For example, someone lies about you and slanders you, is it possible to not have feelings of wanting to hit back or get even? Probably not but it is certainly possible to not take action and retaliate, taking comfort that God knows who sins. I’ve live a few years and it seems that eventually people who are jerks really do get what they deserve.
