Latest versions allow Hard Disk Install - so I keep all versions on my hard disk now - I have not deleted 2004 - just installed 2005 as well as 2004. I think one of the ideas of the annual CD is so that they are constantly updated and anything dodgy is removed from later editions. Interestingly, the Commenatry on the Letter of James was not on 1993 but is on later versions including 2005
What do the older WT CD's have that the newer ones don't?

I still get an "ABNORMAL PROGRAM TERMINATION" error message.

The only two publications I can find that are on the 1995 CD but not the 2003 one is "BF_E" (Babylon the Great Has Fallen) and "YW_E" (Your Will Be Done On Earth).

Thanks! I was hoping for more....
and, if I'm correct, they've never put any Awake!s earlier than 1970 on a CD, right?

There are some bizarre articles the WTS would like to bury from the 1960's, the one which compares women to a heifer sexually, the one that says that women have smaller brains, the 1968 Awake about 1975.
I found the same books on the 1993 CD, Leoilia, the Babylon the Great book and the Your Will be Done book (replaced by the Daniel Prophecy book in 1999). The Eternal Purpose (orange) is also on the 1993 CD.
No KMs before 1970 either...probably some bizarre info in those.
I'd like to see the Golden Age and Consolation magazines on CD.

Is the "Eternal Purpose" online anywhere? As I recall, somewhere in that book it implied that the 7,000 year "rest" did begin in 4026 BCE (instead of just saying that was when Adam was created).
I agree about the Golden Ages and Consolation. That would be awesome to have on CD.

My 1993 CD doesn't work on my XP either.
Does ayone have a work-around?
Please and thank you.

Try running it in Compatibility mode. I will play with the disc at some point to find a way to get it to run, and if i get it to work i'll let you all know. IT might be a case of installing it on an older machine and then adding the installed files to a zip file to install...maybe?

I know that a couple articles that discussed Romans 2:16 were on the original cd but not on the later versions. I think the subject was deemed threatening as it opened a can off worms about people being judged favorably dispite not being JWs.

Were they WT articles? Do you have any additional info?
