Thank you so much to everyone who participated in my learning experiment. Boy, have I learned a lot! I think it went really quite well accounting for distance and lack of really knowing the people on the other end.
Many blessings,
~Brigid

I bought ...The Gilded Tarot...And I am in the middle of the book! Is there anything you can add that the book doesn't?

Arrowstar,
Never too late. PM me with your email addy. I have a couple ahead of you (and pesky mundane work stuff) so it may take a while. But it would be my absolute pleasure.
Legolas,
I am not familiar with that deck or the book. Sorry. But as always, the querant (you) can interpret the cards for themselves far better than the reader (me). Take the cards I sent you and look them up. I'm sure you will gain further, deeper insight than I could provide.
Love and Light,
~Brigid

Ok ..That is a question I have...So the book gives me a basic meaning of a card but it is up to me to say what they can mean...do I have that correct?

Yes.
I would also suggest obtaining and studying Carl Jung's "Man and His Symbols" and any of the tarot books from Paul Foster Case. I would higly recommend staying away from the more new agey (Llewellyn for the most part, though not all bad) tarot books. Most of them, in my experience, aren't worth the paper they're printed on.

Thanks Day...This is a site that I have been reading alot on the weekend..... http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/learn/meanings/
Along with buying the cards I bought a book called ...Discover Your Psychic Powers, A Practial Guide to Psychic Development & Spiritual Growth..by Tara Ward..
I am only on page 75 out of 469, but it's a good book so far!
