they set me an email . They have an article regardig how they differ eith JWS and 7th day adventists. I found it rather interesting. I started to sign up for their "the real truth" emg, but it requires your name and they do not guarantee they will not disclose it to a third party.

I have no idea what you are talking about concerning slippys. I don't have any account there at all. Are you sure that you didn't mistake another name for me? ...Now I"m all curious!! I don't get into political threads much at all here, let alone anywhere else.
Back when my husband and I were living in Japan (he was working teaching English for a Japanese church), we were unable to attend his 10th high school reunion. His mother found out that someone's buddy had tagged along and claimed to be him, took a name badge for him, and got completely smashed while trying to answer questions about how it was to live in Japan. I think that if someone wants to pose as a JWD person at slippys, I'm hardly an exciting pick.

Very interesting link wednesday on their comaprison to the JW's. I have found out that there are many religions quite similar to the witneses even those who believe in D'F as a friend of mine who grew up in such a religion discussed with me once

Wednesday, when my mother was in the hospital I read to her from Psalm 139. It helped to reassure us both that we both were well-known and well-loved. I read it at her memorial service:
O LORD, you have searched me and you know me.

thank ou Bebu, now I wonder who on earth I shot my mouth off to over at slippys. I don't post often there, but there are some very nice people who post there.
I really appreciated the scripture. Funny you should post on this thread, I thought b/c of what I said said you were mad. And it is you that shares a beautiful scripture with me.
yes stilla, there are a frightening number of religions that are very similar to jws. especially here in the Bible Belt. So many ways to foul up your life. I recall my dad reading 'the plain truth' so many years ago, it used to lay around the house the way the WT and A did. (can't recall the abbreviation now they use for the awake-)
I know that once someone is in your heart and soul, and mind, they don't ever really leave you.
