Meeting JWs in other regions or countries

Greetings again greendawn
The elder who was studying with me was boasting that the JWs are the only ppl on earth that can visit other countries and count on the hospitality of local JWs that they never met before.
Not sure if that statement, the "elder" was making is entirely true or not, but it cuts both ways. I've stayed with many I wished I hadn't. I'd have been better of sleeping in my car. The places were just plain repulsive.

There are routinely people who visit our church from other countries. People from the congregation always put them up in their houses.
