welcome thrall --- thanks for sharing your story . Personally I think I would have done whatever it took to stay out of the military over the leaving the WT. Would you say that also slowed down your schooling ? Is the JW religion the only one that gets conscientious objector status in finland? What kind of government does finland have these days ? Is it democratic ?

Welcome to the forum, your story is typical of kids that got involved with the cult due to their parents and subsequently had an unhappy childhood. I noticed the way they were trying to blackmail you at such a young age by threatening to cut you off from your family, that really shows their cultic nature. They obviously don't have real christian love among themselves.

Welcome Thrall. Its funny how you read in the Watchtower about brothers being persecuted for not doing military service and the jw's persecute you for doing it!
