Oh Great.
Now the WTS is going to sue a cartoonist over using the term Watchtowerâ„¢ in one of their cartoons.

They don't send in suicide bombers... they send in the lawyers.
The witnesses will look at this and go, "As long as Jehovah's name is spread around the earth..."
This cartoon doesn't put the JW's in a bad light, so the above quote is probably not far off.
They don't send in suicide bombers... they send in the lawyers.
Fanatics come in all sizes and colors
sending nice looking but completely brainwashed people in to de-program people who are far less likely to benifit from it or even need it - sorry but this is the dominant view here.
Dont apologioze for being in the majority - I certainly do not mind and even relish being in the minority - or even alone - I hold to my view - JWs will not blow people up or burn flags or riot -Muslims will
They don't send in suicide bombers... they send in the lawyers.
Funny...but oh so true
For the Muslims it's their faith that drives them to do what they do. For the WTS it's the money and power that drives them.
JWs will not blow people up or burn falgs or riot
Neither do Mormons or Scientologists...doesn't make them anymore appealing to be a part of.
agreed
Does anyone else see the irony in this cartoon?
JW's (under handedly) point to the Islamic state as the new King of the North.
I'm sure if this thing kicks off, JW's probably think it will set the stage for the king of the north to persecute the "Sacred Secret" or some other garbage like that.
Hey stilla I'm not talking about being in the majority I'm trying to explain that Australians have a very different sense of humour and have heard and seen this particular issue at that particular moment in time as about de-programming. The whole point of the cartoon is about brainwashing. There were dozens of cartoons in our papers saying the same thing - send in the Jw's.
I'm not saying that if you thrust that cartoon in someones face in the future or someone unaware of the "de-programming news" last week it wouldn't be greeted differently. I'm not saying you're wrong or I disagree with the point you've made - far from it.
I just posted here to let people know why the cartoonist said what he did. It's true that our view of the world is quite cynical about all the anti moslem stuff going on and the cartoonist is having a side dig at that too.
cheers, unc
JW's (under handedly) point to the Islamic state as the new King of the North.
This has always bugged me. How can an Islamic state be the KotN? Islamic ruled nations are busy fighting each other as much as anyone else, how can they be united enough to overrun the KotS? Even inside Islam nations there are factions fighting each other.
I remember right after 9/11, some talks that tried to point to Muslim radical groups as being the new KotN. I think they were just testing the JW waters to see if they sheep would buy it. How is it that an underground terror group without a home nation can be the KotN?
