  No Jehovah's Witness has a personal relationship with the God of the old testament because Jehovah is not God's name.It's is the name of the Jinn demon that is impersonating the Biblical God.

  Yes, exactly. "what have you done for me lately" describes perfectly the attitude of JW leaders toward the already converted. After the lovebombing courtship of pre-baptism, what you "marry into" when you join this religion is a nagging "what have you done for me lately" abusive relationship. All take and no give.

  And after you spend all your energy doing all you can for Jehovah, when you get old and sick, you're on your own. I call that, "chew you up and spit you out". I haven't heard a CO use that one to describe "Jehovah" yet, but when they apply it to the "evil world" I can't help but think they are even worse about doing that. The "world" makes no guarantees, at least.

  Oh my god, are you serious? He really said this from the platform? That is just plain bizarre.......maybe he got it mixed up. Maybe he meant to say that our research of the Society's publications Bible teaches us that the Governing Body Jehovah is a "what have you done for me lately" God........ya, that would make far more sense.

  It IS surprising that he told the real Truth -- from the podium. Since the WTS GB is 'His' only visible org on earth, it only makes sense THEY would have His qualities, er, character.

  You are expected to give up your life, education, family, friends as a JW -- and we all have to different degrees. But, when the big "A" comes... and you're 'having a bad hair day'...no matter what you've done or given up for Jehovah, your ass is grass to the "gawd of luv" .

  Burnt like a Texas wildfire.

  It's an awful lot to expect from imperfect folks --- who according to the Bible -- were made imperfect as part of the punishment to Adam & Eve. What the hell did I have to do with their 'sin' ?

  That's a 'fair god', right ? I don't think so...
