The summer conventions because they were far to drive to and there was a lot of traffic while going and leaving due to the sheer number of JW cars.

District Convention - 3 solid days of monotony

Conventions.........too long............I went to 8 day ones..........how did we ever do it?

Starting your menstrual cycle at the District Convention and there are NO tampons in any of the machines was one of the worst experiences I have ever had - sorry for the TMI.

I hated the circuit assemblies, the one day assemblies and the district conventions. Or how about when there was a "special" talk where attendance was "optional", but you had to go to "appear" spiritual. I can recall a few of those in the 80s.

The district assembly for sure, but all the assemblies were annoying, and BORING. Not to mention the congregation picnics every year......although it was an excellent place to hear tons of gossip.

The conventions, hands down. The assemblies I actually liked, but mostly for the social aspect... well, really just liked meeting girls.
