I think I will try to do that - donate blood on the Memorial. It's a great idea to choose the Memorial day on which to do it. Thanks for reminding us of the importance of donating blood (on any day). I haven't done it in years due to vein problems, but it's such a good thing to do. It usually takes me 10 times longer to donate blood than anyone else in the clinic because of tiny veins in my arms. I don't remember it hurting much at all, just making me woozy. I passed out once trying to donate too, but only for a second or two. Maybe I'll try it again on April 12.

Well, "the Memorial" has passed, but Memorial Day in the US is coming soon on May 29 -----> maybe a good way to honor the memory of those who refused blood, such as Bethany Hughes.
