Well..........I won't go on and on like last time (and then be called a *kiss ass*).

But I can only guess at how disheartening it is to see adults consistently fighting amongst themselves - sometimes over the most trivial of comments made. I know, I'm among the fighters sometimes.

But if one looks beyond that, at the people involved, then they start to see personalities, likes, feelings. That thread JoelBear started about 10 things about ourselves is a great example - we start to see each other as our neighbors, not just posters.

I hope you stay around, Max, because there's so much work to do for those who know what the work consists of - and that wouldn't be the likes of me. It would be the likes of ones like you.

You old dog - you better not leave! You've made many a person here a believer in you. Not a follower (had to clarify that quickly) - we just believe you know who, what, where, when, on a lot of things - how to accomplish them.........and that you're a good man.

Hi Max;

I guess it's best to remember to bring your flame-suit, and do like the firemen. It's possible to protect oneself from flames - but you can't prevent anything from burning.

I really wouldn't take it so seriously if someone starts namecalling and stuff. After all, if you do - they win. And I guess that's not the general idea. Nothing would please the assholes in the Watchtower more, and I don't think you really want them to have that happy hour.

Anyway, I bet you know most of the people on this board enjoy your postings and your insight of different subjects. I for one would really hate to see you go. Even though I don't really think you will..

Take care, and don't spend 2 calories worth being irritated by people namecalling you. After a few years online, you will have been called much worse things than this. I know that doesn't sound comforting, but being an honest asshole I feel I should tell you anyway :-)
