We have a kind considerate and loving individual who needs our support and love.

This is someone who has posted helpful information, encouraging words and shared himself with us when we needed it.

I'm talking about our good friend Auld Soul.

AS has been going through some tough times lately. As you know he disassociated himself. He put himself through a lot and willingly shared that painful chapter of his life with us. From his pain we learned and grew.

Now it's our turn to help AS. We all know the ramifications of disassociating ourselves or getting disfellowshipped. But, knowing and understanding what will transpire between us and our friends and family isn't the same thing as actually living through it.

The pain brought about by knowing and seeing that your family and closest friends have chosen a book publishing company over you - well, that can be just about unbearable.

So, please, take some time and share some encouraging words.

It is important for you to know how helpful you have been. Through your pain and trials you have helped many others. You helped me more than you can ever imagine.

It is nearly impossible for me to express exactly how much I appreciate your posts and how inspiring you have been. You care for others and it shows. And that makes the rest of us care MORE!

Thank you for all that you have done. I will be praying for you and I hope that you will see that we love and care very deeply for you and that you are valued more than you can comprehend.

Sometimes you can get a little burnt out and discouraged, and maybe you need to take a break and go do something you enjoy. Something to take your mind off of the JW issues for awhile. I get a little overwhelmed at times, so I go out and brush my horses and sink my nose in their manes.. I love the smell of them and that just eases my mind so much. Balance is important. Sometimes your heart and mind become weary from trying to save the world. That's Jesus' deal. He's great at it! Just do what you can when you feel up to it, and spend some time enjoying the blessings of life.

And don't forget that you are a blessing to US! Take care of yourself and if you need prayer in a specific area, don't hesitate to let me know!

Auld Soul made a lot of very helpful and informative posts here regarding the WTS which I am sure have helped a lot of readers. Unfortunately those folowing the GB advice will simply isolate themselves from the world and serve a society that in reality has nothing good to offer them either in the short term or in the long term. They will just be exploited and one day realise that they got a very rough deal.

Hang in there AuldSoul. I can only imagine how I'd feel having to face being shunned by family and "friends". The poor gits are so brainwashed by the cult that, even though I'm sure it causes them great pain, they think they have no choice. Hopefully, they will come around and start acting like human beings again soon. (((Hugs)))
