    Howdy all.

It's amazing how modernized the world is now.

I'm wondering if any of you people think that computerized and new technology is taking away the fun of natural life?

eg 1. Children are behind computers games more than playing in the park

    2. Do you still have picnics?

Blessed Star This sounded like a nice post to me...nothing offensive and yet you would think by the comments that you had walked into a beehive!!! Can anyone start a thread about anything besides sex and not be eaten alive??? Sometimes if you don't have anything nice to say....say nothing at all!!! Ever heard that one? Swalker

    Swalker,

It's not always what was said but who was saying them.

Read up a bit on Blessed Star and you'll see why some are wondering why they're asking.

SWALKER, I concede your point. I'm in an absolutely terrible mood today and was probably too harsh. Sorry, BS.

I agree and apologize if what I said wasn't nice.

It seems people are constantly criticizing and challenging how others live or behave... and how our children are being raised. I guess I got defensive about it.

But you're right, SWALKER. That's why I don't post here much. It's difficult to find nice things on this forum.

Yes, BlessedStar, we do have picnics and love them. We often pack up food and go to the beach or park. We sit and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air, talk to other friendly people, share our food with them and the birds. Sometimes we fly kites. Sometimes we take the ferry to New York just to have a picnic in Central Park. It's relaxing and fun.

And no, I don't think technology takes away from natural fun. There's a purpose for everything, it just needs to be kept in balance.

Ok, this got me thinking about having sex at picnics...

One time me and an old g/f were picking strawberries and....oh, nevermind.

Thanks willowmoon. So there are nice things after all. It's good you remembered. It is even relaxing and fun to think about when you're not in a good mood too.

And when I said that thing about going to the park, it was only an example. The beach, the woods or whatever comfortable and safe place there is outdoors is just fine.

Ok luna, thanks for your apology. You're forgiven too!

All those who have apologised - I FORGIVE YOU!!!

A picnic is not a picnic if my XBOX 360 is not in attendance. For this reason I have all my picnics in doors next to the TV!

(well it is winter over here!)
