  Now that's unfair.

  Mind you, I don't mean to say that women never do that without justification, but - well, two things:

  1. When women expect you to "just know" what's wrong, maybe it's because you've forgotten this anniversary, lobbed that insult, had this argument, or generally screwed up in the same way, before. More than once, even.
  2. When I'm asked "What's wrong?" and I say "Nothing," it means "I'm handling it by myself; I'll feel better when it wears off. Leave me alone, because talking about it will only mean I have to take care of your feelings too."
