I also am very grateful for any insights into what is happening within the org... I get a real kick out of being able to keep up to date with latest news etc. It helps when I am talking to my mother....

When I first got here I'd read how certain ones would be treated at JC meetings and I'd say, "NO WAY" because I knew that what was said about these elders was against all the rules. Then I realized that there's a reason the Society was always harping on doing things by "procedure". It was because JWs were being df'd and reproved and yet the elders were going against their own manual! Being exposed to the (ex)worldwide brotherhood has been most helpful so that all can see the hypocrisy of it all.
