"Re: Why did Jehovah create animals that eat blood with the meat?"
I'm not sure of the answer but it would seem a bit odd to see an aligator eating strawberries.

According to my CO dad Satan made the animal the animals go bad too.
Noah was no freaking Gerlad Durrell.
Okay, you have two of each founder species, and seven of a few species. So, what, a dozen species x 7 means you have 60 'food' animals, everything else is breeding stock.
that is First thing you do is have a Bar-BQ to thank god for killing everyone but you. So, how many animals down are we now? Then god tells you you can eat animals, and the lions start looking at zebras in a completely different way...
Which part of myth don't people get?

Oh my God! Your right it can't be true! No wait, God said it happened so it must be true because God doesn't lie. QED
The question makes a number of assumptions.
That there is someone called Jehovah.
That he created animals.
That he has control over what they do.
If we start with a false premise then we end up with an unanswerable question.
On a more serious note, why don’t wild animals get to enjoy tomato ketchup or mustard on their dinner?

This is similar to what I remember, Jwfacts
I thought Jehovah cursed the animals when Adam and Eve
sinned and then they went bad ?
They sure seemed to be created for the diet they have,
which means god knew this was all going to happen.
Is everything in the paradise going to go back to vegetarian.
They`d probably say that the animals were also originally vegetarian. I just wonder why he then created the lion and the tiger in the way they were made. Anyway, KW13 is right, they were designed (or evolved) to hunt and eat meat. If you were to try to feed a tiger, lion or any other predator (especially cat animals) vegetarian food, they would starve to death. Their intestines are much shorter than us plant-eaters, designed to digest meat, and meat only. Plant-eaters have longer intestines, making us able to take up all the nourishment in the plants.
Trevor, maybe the question could be reworded:
How do people who believe the Bible explain: why did Jehovah create animals that eat blood with the meat?
Blondie
Good point blondie, yes I still have faith in the bible just not the JW's.

I eat a vegan diet and have lots of friends that do too. Actually it is possible for a meat eater to be a vegan. There is now even vegan dog food. My friend's dogs are doing wonderfully after many years on a well managed vegan diet. It was a surprise to me too because I thought it would be impossible. The Bible describes a vegan world for all at creation, and killing and meat eating came as a result of sin entering the world. I don't rememeber what spin the org. put on it but they were never very vegan friendly.
