The word's out to invite anyone and everyone-----as this could be the last celebration (per my mother as she heard it at the Hall).

Got my invitation and quickly declined it. Here's the stupid part: This year's memorial is held at 9:45pm on a Wednesday (my old congregation shares with another cong.) How stupid is that? Small children should be in bed before 9:45pm. Hell, I'm usually in bed by 10:00pm!
Too many good reasons to stay home.
