The JWs, a petty minded and ungrateful lot

The JWs are being grossly unfair and unrealistic when they say that they owe nothing to the rest of world, for example many ppl had to die in order to defeat fascism and they the JWs were certainly spared much grief by the defeat of such dictatorial and ruthless powers. Democratic governments are very civilised in their behaviour towards the JWs perhaps too civilised. But they will never once admit it.

Well the one you mentioned is the first one I thought of.........the WTS is always bitching about how 'Catholics over here go and kill Catholics over there..' etc. War is never nice but sometimes necessary. Had Hitler not been stopped, we'd all be singing:

I think the very fact that these 'Catholics' and every other heathen directly under the influence of Satan de Debbil, went to war and DIED so that you and I could live in freedom is one of the greatest sacrificies a human being could make. They didn't know us and most probably held Jehovah's Witnesses in comtempt, yet they were willing to fight and die so that we could enjoy religious freedom.

Another area that pisses me off is their contempt for "higher education". Without higher education, they wouldn't have the technology at Bethel to print off their rat-assed literature. And where would they be without doctors who are willing to try and save their lives by using non-blood alternatives??

The WTS hates giving credit to anyone outside of the Borg yet they're always slapping themselves on the back for 'a job well done'...............it makes me sick.

They tell the brothers not to slow down and lose their joy, or to lose sight of the end, buying or building new homes, when all the while they are refurbishing their real estate holdings in New York.

Yeah I still get angry thinking about something an old buddy said, when he was a kid he got a good grade for writing an essay called 'Rememberance Day is an Anachronism'. I told him not to say what he thinks about it to anybody who ever served, as it would be grossly disrespectful to snub the memories of the people who died defending his rights. I couldn't convince him that the grade was probably because he's good with grammar and knew an obscure word.

It always bothered me that the JW's won't vote, but will take full advantage of all goverment laws and handouts. And complain about everything from taxes to lack of jobs while doing nothing about it. I always say "if you don't vote, you have no right to complain".

It seems very hypocritical to condemn the govermetns but use them to further your preaching work.

Is there any proof of this statement? I don't put it pass them at all, but I would appreciate knowing more about it.

It's not just the printing technology that they take advantage of but also advances in medical technology which has saved many JW lives no doubt or eased their pain.

And it was worldly humanistic philosophers that eventually paved the way for the more humane society we have today.
