Vitty, this article is just a rehash of old light. Not sure if the article is softening people up for some new light about to come, or just trying to settle JWs that are reading about the changes for the first time on the Internet and looking for answers.

I remember a person coming into our hall once and answering in the 80's. He pulled out COC and said something that I can't remember. I don't know if it affected anyone, I just thought oh no an apostate.
Still maybe a well thought out comment may get someone wondering about things.

Man what a set of balls on them, thats great!
Its hardly a way to make a point though, everyone will put up that JW shield from logic when they think the source is an apostate.

A comment I would like to make:
"Brothers, the last time we had an article like this one was in 1995, which said that one flash of light Jehovah had blessed us with was where it had been revealed the separation of the sheep and goats was not a future event but one happening presently in this Lord's Day. 5 months later this 'bright light' flickered and died when the teaching changed. It is therefore probable that at least one of the shining truths we're celebrating today, as evidence of God's revelation to us, will be drastically changed and discarded as error within the year."

I agree, i was going over the article with my brother last week and i told him that the single most important change in the 90's was the generation change in 1995 and if i'm correct it was not mentioned in the article. Also, they did not mention the new view on dissociated ones in 1982. They focused on changes such as the view of some miniscule prophecy of ezekial and "greater authority". I'm pretty sure that this article is gearing the RF for something big though.

how about a simple statement like........................."since we have seen "adjustments in truth" for many years both LARGE and SMALL, it would be reasonable to believe that the 'light will continue to get brighter' and some of our long held onto beliefs WILL change in the future me... just about to leave for the meeting...
