  I am sorry to hear about your daughter being in an accidant, but glad to hear she'll be ok.

  You will always be her mom. Sometimes though there are things we as kids feel more comfy doing or having someone else there for.

  I love my mother so much. I know that she did the best she knew how to raise us kids. But there are just some things right now that I would have someone else help me with. But nothing, no one could ever take the place of my mom.

  It sounds like you are a very lovely person, no one could ever replace you. You will always be their mother.

  And they are dang lucky for that.

  Those are excellent points Black Swan of Memphis,

  Perhaps I had better rethink my attitude... it is just that those witnesses are always thinking that they have the right to take over our lives and our relationships.

  I just gotta learn to relax a bit.

  Black Swan is also right in that you are a lovely person and mom to have this understanding.

  Hey Mary,

  I didn't think you were all that wrong.

  The intent on the side of the witnesses is one thing and you made some great points.

  I was taking a look at it from the angle of the daughters view.

  Witnesses do try and replace family when they can, stepping in to be family because one may have no family in 'the truth'.

  But from the daughter's perspective, some times there are things that we either need to do on our own or that we prefer someone other then our mom/dad to do.
