One of the very few shows I was allowed to watch growing up.

Amanda was watching Little House one day and it just so happened that particular episode was about a miracle wheat or corn that was being sold. turns out the whole town just about lost everything they had to a sheister. Kinda reminded me of Charles T Russell and his miracle wheat.

Would you believe I didn't even know there were books until now.
I would love to get my hand on some and read them.
That would be cool.
I especially like Laura and Nelly episodes.

This was Rachel's (Princess) absolute favorite show when she was little. She even was allowed to watch it on the color TV when Monday Night Football was on. Her Dad never let the boys win that battle.
I think she still watches the reruns. I always thought Rachel and Melissa Gilbert looked quite a bit alike too
I don't need to watch them. I turn on Little House and within thirty seconds can tell you everything that happens in the episode. I can't frequently quote the upcoming dialogue too.
Freak.

If you have TV Land, tune in at 8:00 pm eastern every night and you can see the very first shows, dating to 1974. The character of Nellie was introduced last night; it was great seeing the characters introduced. I didn't watch the show til a few seasons later and by then Mary was going blind and the girls were looking for husbands.Great show, great music and my goodness, the late Michael Landon never looked hotter!

No Apologies
Little House was a classic although it seems a little syrupy looking back on it now. We only got one channel back then, it was one of the better shows on NBC. (Although who can forget Supertrain???)And Melissa Gilbert became a darn good looking woman.
My real reason for posting though, does anyone else see a couple odd grey boxes on this page? I don't know if its supposed to be an image or what, and it affects Firefox and IE 6. Very Strange...

You probably have a lot of wonderful memories then. You can't be that old, you are putting me on because you use the computer very well.
