I went to my mailbox, took out my mail, and what did I find? A large envelope from my mother. And guess what was inside? You got it, watchtower sad mags and a letter from my mother. I am now the proud owner of the January 15, 2006 issue of the Watchtower and the February 22, 2005 and April 2006 issue of the Awake. Oh joy.

My hubby thinks it funny.

Why don't you send her back some 'other' kind of literature? Freeminds has oodles! as do all the other sites. Tell her you will read her stuff if she will read yours and discuss both. No worry for you, like that would be the day they read anything other than the cult literature.

Those magazines are full of propaganda and lying despite their innocent appearence they are like apparently harmless computer programs that are full of viruses. You download and open them and that's it you are infected and have serious problems to solve.

I think I'll call her and let her know I got it. Don't think it would be a good idea to send any information back, would be rather pointless since Mother has her blinders firmly in place. I'll just try not to get into an argument about it.

Hi Josie,

I get things like this from my mom too. Back in January we went over to my moms for supper. As I was leaving she handed me a gift bag. I thought "oh how nice" - I wasn't expecting anything. When I got home and opened it up I had The Daily Text, a 2006 Calendar and the Jan WT and Awake. It wasn't exactly the gift I expected - even though I hadn't expected anything in the first place!! lol
