I don't think the WT will come out and say the King of the North is Islam...they might hint, but they don't have the collective guts to stand up for much these days. They're too afraid of reprisals from fundamentalist groups.

If I recall well the book of Daniel, in the end times *now* the king of the South "USA and England" would engage combat against the king of the North. "The US lead force is in Iraq and Afghanistan", and then the King of the North *Iran* will kick their ass out of the region with many tugboats and canoes, and flying carpets.
And then the King of the South will want to Nuke them to kingdom come, and then God will intervene.
Or is it the King of the North *Iran* that will want to nuke Israel and the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan,then God intervenes.
