Honey, to put in my tea. That was a bugger to get out and even now the keys still stick from time to time.
What have you accidently dropped onto/into your keyboard?

Good question
I have been way to careful
All that is on my keyboard is dust.

I have really hairy hands and arms and I'm forever sticking sharp things down between the keys to pull out hair. And I once found some dead sea Scrolls down there

Nothing but pipe tobacco ashes.
I got super big stickers to put on the keys for my Mum who was losing her sight. Now I can't use a normal keyboard.

You name it, it's in there... I periodically turn it over and bang it on the desk, then vacuum what falls out.
Usually the collection includes, but is not limited to:
- Oreo crumbs
- a small splat of milk (see above)
- Dorito crumbs
- Peanut bits
The WORST thing that ever happened to my keyboard (there's a story...): Ya know those Asian beetles that have infested the earth? I saw one crawling around on my beer bottle one evening, flicked it away. A minute or two pass and I'm needing a swig, so take one. It includes... something...that... feels... funny? I didn't bother to swish and find out, I just OPENED my mouth to get that bug OUT of my mouth -- beer and insect landed on and in my keyboard. Oh *shudder* ... it was just gross. I called it a night after that, but not before ebaying a new keyboard as I knew the beer would mess it up (just as the coffee and juice had my other two previous RIP keyboards. There's a pattern here. :) )

Water is the worst thing that ever happened to my key boards. I recall enough letters not working to make me sound like I was speaking Jamaican MON. If you spill something liquid in your keyboard, turn it upside down on a towel immediately and then unplug it and dry it with a hair dryer.

Oh Flyin' where was your great advise a few years ago, I could have used it!

I fried my first keyboard by spilling a beer on it. The type looked like this: tifu dpbn8e mvieo I have no idea what I just said, LOL I had to get rid of that drunken keyboard, I kept the drunk behind it.

I have one of those keyboards designed to withstand abuse.
Microsoft makes 'em.
Other then that:
beer
pop
chips
tea
coffee
doritos
At one point the keys got too sticky to do anything. I took a chance. Unplugged it from the comp washed it out with water set it upside down to dry. Used a hairdryer on low speed on the back of it...
Voila. It works.
