PS--I recall mention of the aging harlot images in a book study. I don't know if it was just the elder's idea to mention it or if it was mentioned in the book we were studying.
Does anyone remember the constant talk of the Doomsday Clock & how it proved Armageddon was coming at any moment? I remember that in book studies too. I remember asking how it proves that, since the clock barely moves, and of course getting dirty looks.

When I was a dub the thing we talked about was how the Harlot's image had worsened over the years. She used to be young in the '50s, now she is worn out and old.
