Poor unc has been feeling a bit under the weather, so I told him we'd cheer him up by posting pics of some of his favorite things.

I'm cheered up. All that foil reminds me of the time some wealthy (and somewhat eccentric) neighbours left me in charge of thier guesthouse. I asked Libby to make me a list of anything she wanted fixing while they were away enjoying the delights of Boston. Imagine my surprise when I arrived to find the list included "spa bath, small swimming pool, jetty by lake, render external walls, stainless steel kitchen".
So I got rolls of foil and covered all the benchtops and kitchen cupboards with it. (they thought it was hillarious and left it that way for weeks. Libby copped a lot of ribbing from the rest of her family over her "wish list".
