Where did the first Sin happen?

As far as I'm concerned, the first sin occured in heaven, when Satan rebelled against God, not in the garden of Eden.

God knowing this, shouldn't he have warned Adam and Eve that Satan would tempt them.

Since in Revelation 12:12 it's written:

Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU

Shouldn't God have given the same warning to Adam and Eve?

Dearest brother JH....ya damn heathen apostate bastard,...here's the deal.

Jehovahs DID warn Adam and Eve. He just didn't say HOW it would happen. He told them they could eat from every tree in the garden cept fer the one in the middle. God knew Satan was gonna ask them to eat from that tree so he warned them not to eat from it.

He just didn't know the outcome of whether they would actually listen to Satan or not cuz if he DID know the outcome, then that would be "foreknowledge" and Jehovah don't work that way. You see....Jehovah can CHOOSE either to know something or not know.....cuz he's Jehovah! ( this idea of "foreknowledge" is actually presented in the aid book )

You make a good point JH about sin in all seriousness. I suppose believers would say mans fall was the first sin....ON EARTH.

Where in the bible does it say the devil had rebelled before this little incident in Eden?

Ken.....yer gettin rusty ya old fart! I believe it's in Ezekiel where it's talking about Satan being the prettiest of all the angels and how he walked in the garden of god.......untill deception entered him. How this is attributed to Satan I've forgotten......cuz I'm an old bastard.

    Hi Gumby,

It's been 33 years since I've read the bible much and I've forgotten all the WT lessions I studied. I can't even explain the book of Daniel and Revelation anymore.

I believe the scripture in Revelation refers to when Satan was cast out of heaven in 1914, or so I remember it; not around the time of Adam and Eve. Prior to 1914, Satan was able to roam between heaven and earth (remember when you came before God in regards to Job?) but he has since been banned and that is why the earth must woe...

Didn't Satan draw 1/3 of the angels away from Jehovah? Wasn't this prior to Adam and Eve?

And since Satan tempted Eve, he was a rotten apple even back then.....

When we shut the Bible as do billions of persons in the whole world do. Remember christianity is small in numbers compared to all the other religions around the world combined who do not use the Bible. When we do that, where is the evidence that such a person even exists. No Satan, then no sin. This does not mean that we don't do wrong and hurt others, it's just not sinning as the Bible puts it.No Satan, no sin, no reason for anyone i.e.Jesus to have to be sacrificed to cover sin.Just my thoughts not meaning to offend believers.
