Moments of ahhh

I have certain things that make me say ahhh - here my moments:

Between my hair (which is very long) and my cat's hair (which is long) and a messy boyfriend, my condo gets out of control dirty. There are times when I have to tear it apart to clean it because it feels yucky. Like tonight. I have been away traveling for work and returned to a very messy place (thank you kitty and messy boy friend). So I was a terror, I took everything down to the bare bones and cleaned it. With the exception of laundry and dishes (in the dishwasher which is currently going) my place is clean. This is my ahhhhh moment. I will sit down with a book and be able to relax. Which is also another ahhh moment. With another being, climbing into bed with clean sheets. Life is good. I love my ahhh moments.

So what is your ahhh moment?

My ahh moments usually come from a nice fullfilling day at work. Today was one of those days, until one of my self righteous, holier than thou, (I'm more spiritual then you) relative called.

    Next time I'm not answering.

I too like slipping into a bed freshly made with clean sheets.

Or a cool shower after working in the yard

Or sipping a glass of sweet ice tea on my patio on a lovely summer's evening, listening to the bird song and enjoying the fragrance of the abelia in my backyard

Or opening the windows on the first warm day after winter and taking a nap, caressed by the breeze.

Trying to take sips of exceptionally good Tom Yum soup, but then I end up just slirping the whole bowl because it's just so darn good.

Then there's sitting at the beach, listening to the surf, squishing the sand between my toes

    "cuddling" - ahhhhh

Life's simple pleasures provide plenty of ahhs for me.

my aaah moment is when i've had a long day with the kids(4 and 2yrs) and i sit them down with a cartoon and escape to a long shower then just sit on the couch and enjoy the moment...before they jump on me again lol great question

Yes, kids can be included in the ahh moments. I love the smell of a baby. I love the little toes and little hands. I love when a toothless baby smiles or coo's. I love when that baby grows up to the point that they still find new things amazing and want to share it with you. I love when a close friend's daughter spends the day with me, drawing pictures and telling me stories with amazed eyes as it I surely most not have known this information until she told me. Those are ahh moments. But I also love getting home to a quiet (turn off the ESPN on the t.v. messy boyfriend and talkative kitty who is happy I am home and follows me around "talking" to me telling me about her day).

Oh, great ahhh moments girls!!! All of them!!!
I relaxed just visualizing your ahhh moments!

Im in one now myself. Spent the day cleaning and even did a little sponge painting on a wall that turned out very good. The entire house is orderly, dusted, new sheets for tonight, dinner is waiting for hubby, celtic harp on the CD, Spring breeze blowing through the canyon. Everything looks really nice.

I really think 2006 is going to be a turning point landmark year for me.

I feel strong and at peace.

Of course I owe alot of thanks to all of you at JWD!

I believe that women only get BETTER with age as we discover who we are and what are needs are. When we are fulfilled (as in our ahh moments) then those are around are able to benefit from our peacefulness.

Have had a good evening with BF - after a few dicey days - oh, yes, clean sheets and vacuumed carpet, too. Reasonably nice meal, considering that we are changing eating habits due to him being pre-diabetes. Also, they want another look on my mammogram tomorrow - listen, folks, enjoy these moments - we know not what lies just around the corner. Everything is temporary - believe me.
