Great post!!! My husband and I were just talking about this the other day..Kids are so spoiled today with all the technology..video games.,,dvds..computers..They don't have to make their own fun.. its all there!!! I remember long summer days as a kid passing away a summer day playing Monopoly..skipping rope(do kids even do that anymore) or even just walking to the store to get a bottle of pop was a treat.. My parents didn't buy pop often as it was a treat.. And you would drink it all.not waste a drop.. because it was a treat.. I feel sorry for our kids nowadays in many ways.. because they haven't really learned to make their own entertainment or enjoy the liitle things in life..
