Let's not forget that many GB members including Sydlik went beserk when they found out that some Bethelites wanted to study the Bible without the WTS publications. Imagine that, they were treated as apostates for this reason and thrown out. That reveals a lot about the nature of the GB.

Huh, my source showed Ted Jaracz as a January 1976 appointee. I will have to dig more deeply. Thanks for the tip.

    Sure enough, November 28, 1974!

Okay, 3 of the 10. So over 2/3 of the Governing Body have been appointed since 1975.

Blondie - is that statement about some of the annointed still being on earth more recent that the early 90s WT study that said they would all be in heaven to fight with jesus at Armageddon?

I remember that study because it caused so much arguing and ill-feeling among the "elders". It annoys me when they say something so vague that you can't work out exactly what they are trying to prove!!

I spoke to one of them, and he said not to discussit, and "wait etc," I just replied that I had waited, but this article only made things more confusing.
