Go outside and enjoy the sunshine.

    NUMBER ONE THING TO DO, E X E R C I Z E !!!!!!!!

Get your natural endorphins raging through your body. Don't drink alcohol. Don't smoke, or try and cut down if your an addict. Eat some fresh fruit and veggies.

I know this sounds a tad naziesque, but it will make you feel better within a week.

Working out releases good endorphins. Maybe you could do a workout inside. If you have cable you could check out fit tv. They have workouts daily. Maybe try some yoga.

Whats your favorite Comedy, what REALLY gets you laughing? Hunt it down on DVD and buy it. Get a big tub of Ice cream or box of chocolates plonk yourself down in front of the tv and watch it.

Make sure you're getting enough sleep, too. Things do tend to seem overwhelming when you're overtired.

I like the funny movie suggestion! I've tried that before and it works!

I haven't been sleeping well. Hmmm, might need to get something for that.

Funny movie sounds good. I'm trying to think of something I really like...maybe a Monte Pythonish sort of thing. I'm trying to watch what I eat, so maybe instead of ice cream or chocolate (much as I love it), I'll get some ?....god, nothing fat/sugar free sounds very interesting. I'll have to think on that.

working out...yes, I need to and have been putting it off because I didn't feel like it. duh.

    LOL, truth about, cute.

I've been coming here (to JWD, which often lifts my spirits) and reading novels like they were going out of style to combat the blues and it wasn't working...couldn't seem to think beyond that. Thanks!

When I'm having down days, the hardest thing for me is to just get moving. But once I do, and accomplish something or take a walk, I feel better. My favorite quick boost is to take a 20 minute walk humming the tune to my favorite 'happy' song. Works every time.

The sun and exercise are great ideas that often work for me. I will watch my favorite movies and take bubble baths, give myself a pedicure. Hot pink nailpolish has amazing healing powers.

Positive thinking is also something I do a lot of. Write down what you like about yourself or what you would like to be. Tape it to your mirror and repeat it to yourself.

I'm not sure I want to try to hum, but I think I'll take my portable cd player thingy and my Marc Broussard cd. That boy's singing sure makes me happy. lol

Hot pink polish, Dams? Hehe...maybe. I do like the pedicure idea very much, though. Not sure about the list of things I like about myself...I find that really, really hard.
