Do you think JWs are really taught "unconditional love" like Jesus did?

Not even close. The only love they show, and it is still very pitiful attempt at it, is totally conditional! Your many years of service mean absolutely nothing if you are in a time of need or have to slow down in your works. The WT should coin the term "what have you done for me lately?", because this is exactly how they treat people.

This is my belief too. I keep arguing this with family and 2 ex-jws. I never received unconditional love growing up - I was told it was what I was receiving but it wasn't. It's actually CONDITIONAL. I finally realized (experienced) the difference. Conditional is control. Conditional is no trust. Biggest thing that pulled me out is the realization only non JWs have given me UNconditional love.
